I’ve escaped the Los Angeles heat and am basking in the cool summer rains of Germany.
(sigh of contentment)
Oddly, I’ve encountered horrible jet lag the last couple days — this despite flying nonstop to Europe in the evening from Los Angeles: the primary antidote to avoiding jet lag. I’m not sure how long I’ll be in Europe, but I won’t rush home.
We’ve seen the dominos begin to fall on the electronics ban over the last week: Emirates, Qatar, Etihad, Turkish, Saudia and Royal Jordanian are no longer subject to the ban. That just leaves Kuwait Airways and EgyptAir.
Stay cool this week: it’s going to be another hot one. I told Heidi she could choose between Cape Town, Buenos Aires, or Melbourne to summer at next year! My body is not built for hot weather!
