Lago’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport has nine Priorty Pass lounges! I had the chance to visit two of them.
The Oasis Lounge was located right next to the NIS office where I spent my entire afternoon and early evening, so it was a natural stop after finally checking in for my flight to Johannesburg.
Lounge hours are daily from 06:30 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. It is located on the first floor (meaning not the ground, but one floor up) next to the Air France/KLM Lounge in the D-Wing of the international terminal.
A friendly woman welcomed me into the lounge, which was deserted. I sat down, plugged in my laptop (British-style plugs), and tried to get online. The Wi-Fi was unfortunately dreadfully slow, much worse than the airport network, which did not reach into the lounge.
Food is not complimentary in the lounge, but a menu is available with reasonably priced items like fried chicken or spaghetti with meat sauce. After two breakfasts on my United flight prior to landing, I passed and just had some some water and peanuts.
Seats were comfortable and other than the annoying TV blaring through the lounge, it was quite tranquil. After about an hour in the lounge it began to fill up, but by that time I packed up and prepared to move on to find more reliable internet.
The lounge had some incredible apron views including my United 787-8 waiting to fly back to Houston and a Delta 767 preparing to return to Atlanta.
CONCLUSION
The lounge was clean, cool, and comfortable. I cannot recommend it due to the internet problems I had, but if you do not need internet it was more comfortable and less crowded than the Gabfol Lounge I would visit next.
