Profanity. Racial slurs. Assault. Pepper spray. All in one Uber ride? For what? Asking a passenger to wear a mask.
Uber Driver Viciously Attacked By Three Women In San Francisco
For, Subhakar Khadka, this nightmare became a reality earlier this week. The driver, an immigrant from Nepal, had picked up three women in San Francisco. One did not have a mask and Uber rules are clear: for the protection of the driver, masks must be worn at all times while inside the vehicle.
So he drove to a gas station so the woman could buy a mask. But rather than thank him for not throwing them out, the women teamed up on the driver…and it was all captured on dashcam video.
“F*** the mask,” said the maskless woman.
Then she leaned forward and began coughing on the driver.
Another passenger added, “And I got corona.”
Then the maskless passenger reached up and ripped the mask off Khadka’s face (assault).
These idiots neglected to realize everything was being recorded and now millions have watched it.
Uber has banned the female (Lyft has too):
This behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against our Community Guidelines. Our team has investigated this situation and removed the Rider’s access to the Uber platform.

After the altercation, Khadka ordered them out of the vehicle, but they refused. They later claimed he wanted to ditch them in a rough part of town. The ladies have accused Khadka of selectively editing the video above and have provided several videos of their own here (expect them to be taken down). They claim that Khadka had intended to create a viral incident and sabotaged them deliberately.
“All I did was smack — take his mask off and cough a little bit, but I don’t even have corona…I was wrong for that, but it could have been avoided.”

This doesn’t help their case…
But wait, there’s more.
When the three women finally did exit the car, they reached back into the open window and pepper sprayed the driver.
One lady has been already arrested and another has indicated through her attorney that she will turn herself in shortly.
It strikes me as more than just pathetic but disgusting that one full year into the pandemic we hear about incidents like this.
But a happy ending for Khadka. Someone started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to fix his car. Thus far, it has raised $68,224 (and counting). I see an Uber Black or UberLUX future for him!
