Live and Let’s Fly Weekend Digest: March 04, 2018

Matthew Klint Posted onMarch 4, 2018November 14, 2023 Leave a Comment

I’ve been grounded all week and am thankful for it. No plans to travel next week either. Plenty of time with family and friends instead. Lots of work too.

There have been a handful of trips I’ve turned down, which is always hard to do. But I’m trying to clear the backlog of old trip reports over the first half of 2018 so that I never run into a situation where I fall behind…sometimes years behind…again. My Australia trip report will continue tomorrow with a review of Singapore Airlines’ Suites Class from Singapore to Melbourne.

I’ve let the SWISS First Class situation sit for another week and not followed up with the DOT or Aeroplan…I need to follow-up with both this week.

In terms of news, we saw politics in play between Delta and the state of Georgia over the NRA…an issue that fascinates this political scientist.  We also learned about AirBnB’s plan to create an airline and about a trio in Miami who skimmed millions from an airport lounge before finally getting caught.

Enjoy your week ahead. Here’s a review of the week’s top stories.
