It is currently 0250 on New Year’s Day in Lisbon and I just got back to my hostel (rather early because of my morning bus trip) from New Year’s festivities near the waterfront.
It’s late and I don’t want to bore with you an exasperated recount of my travels this year, but here’s a quick recap:
January: LX Fare "sale" from YYZ-DEL for ~$300 r/t in C
February: Mexico City and FlyerTalk 1 from ORD-SFO with Captain Denny Flanagan
March: Two trips to Australia and two trips to Europe on United
April: Took full advantage of UA’s $550 ONT-TPA "A" fare
May: Three $250 vouchers for a three hour weather delay from DEN-BOS. Thanks UA.
June: NO TRAVEL (yeah, hard to believe)
July: Israel and Egypt in First Class on LX/LH
August: Law school began, as did frequent trips between PHL and QLA
September: Episode 40 of UPRD live from San Diego
October: My first blog post
November: Peru and Colombia on MX/AV/LA
December: Three bumps in 24 hours
