What is more worthwhile…a $180 Costco cashcard, which is basically cash for us, or 10K AA miles?

I think the $180 is more useful…but I am at 170K AA miles, and getting closer to 2 J tickets to Asia. Thoughts?

@David: I’d take the Costco card if there was one nearby by home.

Of course if you have a firm date for your trip and won’t get the miles by flying, it would make sense to take advantage of this AA offer.

@Matthew — What, no Costco in Frankfurt? Where else are you going to find a 100-pack of schnitzel?
